Feel the Fast

What’s so special about the new Kinvara 6?
The original Kinvara was released in 2009. The Saucony designers wanted to pay homage to their Irish heritage, so they chose to use the name of the Irish sea port village, Kinvara, because the name sounded fast.
The 5th model of Kinvara was awarded the Best Shoe of 2014 by Runner’s World Magazine; it has evolved over the years to become a shoe that propels you onwards and inspires your inner running fanatic.
But what’s so special about the newest model – the sixth?
The newest version features an upper which contains a re-worked FLEXFILM overlay; it has been adjusted to help the shoe move better with your foot, providing a more dialled-in fit without adding additional weight.
It also sits atop the same POWERGRID-enhanced midsole as the 5th version, because, well… it’s just that good.
An open, breathable mesh lets you enjoy a wind-in-your-toes feeling (and who doesn’t love that?) while a Pro-Lock lacing system provides a more secure midfoot fit.
But don’t take our word for it – here’s what everyone else is saying:
BelieveInTheRun.com: “Kinvara 6 has the right amount of cushion that protects, but also is firm enough to keep you fast on your feet… Heel counter and ankle collar are one of the most comfortable in the biz.”
Fleetfeetbirmingham.com: “The improved and super-breathable mesh, plus the new adjustments to the upper, gives the runner a better fit without adding any extra weight.”
Runningfitnessmag.com: “You don’t even need to tie the laces too tight as the shoe fits so snugly that it isn’t going anywhere, no matter how far you run… The trainers supported my feet well, and the breathable mesh kept my feet from getting too hot and stuffy.”
